Roblox has been listening to parents, and today, we are announcing Family Zone (an immersive, native 3D game on the platform). The idea behind Family Zone is simple: the best way to learn about Roblox is by playing it, and the best way to help your kid foster safe digital habits is to interact alongside them in their online world. Family Zone bridges the generational gap by creating a shared digital playground where parents and kids can co-play, bond, and build healthy digital habits together.

When a parent and child enter Family Zone together, they’ll find:
Interactive Co-Play: Mini-activities designed to teach parents how to navigate within Roblox alongside their kids.

Parent Tutorials: Hands-on walkthroughs showing parents how to set up parental controls (managing screen time, spending limits, and content restrictions).

Safety Education: There will be modules accessible through Family Zone, built in partnership with global safety experts, that tackle important topics head-on, including bullying resilience, scam prevention, and how to identify and avoid predatory behavior.
The game has already racked up nearly 7 million visits – indicating a big interest in co-play.
