Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has unveiled its latest additions to the BABY-G family of shock-resistant watches, introducing the new BGD-10K models. Available in four captivating designs, these watches serve not only as functional timepieces but also as unique fashion accessories.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the BABY-G brand made its debut in 1994 as a counterpart to the G-SHOCK shock-resistant watch, catering specifically to active women. Offering the same durability and urban fashion appeal of G-SHOCK watches but in a smaller and more vibrant package, BABY-G timepieces have gained immense popularity over the years.

The BGD-10K series introduces shock-resistant watches with eye-catching pop designs. Each watch comes with a special holder and strap, allowing users to wear it as a traditional wristwatch or convert it into a stylish charm to adorn bags or belts. By detaching the bezel and band and placing the center case into the silicone holder, users can create a personalized charm that reflects their individual style.

Inspired by the trendy colors of Y2K fashion from around the year 2000, the BGD-10K series features vibrant pop color variations that add a playful touch to any outfit. Additionally, pressing the light button in Timekeeping Mode triggers a series of pixel-art animations on the LCD display, further enhancing the watch’s playful aesthetic.

The BGD-10K marks the debut of the BABY-G+PLUS line, a collection of BABY-G watches that Casio will offer with customizable accessories to suit each user’s unique sense of style.

In celebration of the brand’s 30th anniversary, Casio has partnered with the popular Sanrio character Kuromi, who will serve as the BABY-G ambassador. Embodying the spirit of individuality and self-expression, Kuromi promotes the #KUROMIFYTHEWORLD project, encouraging fans to embrace their independence and live life on their own terms. With BABY-G and Kuromi both resonating strongly with teenage girls, the collaboration aims to empower individuals to express themselves freely and confidently.
