OnePlus is building momentum ahead of the official debut of its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15T, which is now confirmed to launch in China on 25 March 2026.
With more details emerging ahead of its unveiling, the device is shaping up to be one of the most compelling Android releases of the year, combining top-tier performance, a compact design and an unusually large battery capacity.

Compact Flagship with Premium Build

Despite its flagship positioning, the OnePlus 15T takes a slightly different approach by offering a more compact form factor. It features a 6.32-inch OLED LTPO display with ultra-slim bezels, delivering a 1.5K resolution and a notably high 165Hz refresh rate. The display also incorporates an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, enhancing both speed and security. In terms of build, the device uses a metal frame and comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing strong resistance against dust, water and even high-pressure conditions. The phone remains relatively slim at around 8.5mm thick and weighs approximately 194g, balancing durability with portability.

Powerful Performance and Battery Life

Under the hood, the OnePlus 15T is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Configurations range from:
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
  • Up to 16GB RAM + 1TB storage
One of the standout features is its massive 7,500mAh battery, positioning it among the largest in its class. This is supported by 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, promising both endurance and quick top-ups.

Camera and Imaging Capabilities

The OnePlus 15T is equipped with a dual 50MP rear camera system, which includes a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom performance. On the front, a 32MP camera handles selfies and video calls, catering to both everyday users and content creators.

New Colours and Design Identity

OnePlus is also introducing a range of distinctive colour finishes for the 15T, including:
  • Relaxing Matcha
  • Pure Cocoa
  • Healing White Chocolate
These options reflect the brand’s continued effort to differentiate its devices through lifestyle-inspired aesthetics.

Software and User Experience

The device will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 in China, continuing OnePlus’ integration with OPPO’s software ecosystem while maintaining its focus on performance and fluid user experience.

A Flagship to Watch

With just days to go before its official launch, the OnePlus 15T stands out for combining flagship-level performance, a compact form factor, and one of the largest batteries in its segment. As competition intensifies in the premium Android space, the 15T could appeal to users seeking a balance between power, portability and endurance — a combination that remains rare in today’s smartphone market.
