HONOR Malaysia has proudly marked a major achievement with the grand opening of its 100th retail store at Suria KLCC on 28 June 2025, a symbolic milestone underscoring the brand’s remarkable growth since entering the Malaysian market in 2019.

The launch attracted a large turnout of shoppers and tourists, many of whom came to experience HONOR’s latest product line-up, including the newly launched HONOR 400 Series, HONOR MagicBook Pro 14, HONOR Pad 10, HONOR Watch 5 Ultra and HONOR Band 10. They also get to experience of Malaysia’s-first Cross-OS Connectivity between the HONOR 400 Series to iPhone or iPad.

“Opening our 100th store at such a prestigious location is a proud moment for all of us at HONOR. It represents our commitment to the Malaysian market and the strong support we’ve received from local consumers. We’re excited to continue growing and delivering cutting-edge technology that truly meets users’ needs,” said Justin Li, President of HONOR South Pacific.

HONOR Leads in Mid-Premium Tier, Now One in Every Four Smartphones Sold

Over the past four years, HONOR has emerged as a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment, gaining significant traction with products like the HONOR Magic V3 a flagship that have begun to rival top-tier competitors like Apple and Samsung in consumer preference.

“According to the latest survey data from third party, now HONOR has become the top tier consumer-electronic brand in mid-premium segment in Malaysia. Take smartphone for example, at the price range between RM1,500 to RM3,000, every four phones sold out, one is an HONOR device,” said Li.

Strategic Investment towards Retail Innovation

In conjunction with this milestone, HONOR announced plans to invest RM10 million annually into expanding its retail footprint and enhancing in-store experiences across Malaysia. This investment will focus on improving customer engagement zones, providing hands-on device experiences, and integrating smart technologies in its stores.

After-Sales Excellence Infrastructure

HONOR carries a reputation of after-purchase service excellence. While HONOR devices are recognized for their high quality and among the lowest repair rates in the industry, the brand is focused on continuously improving support.

“The second thing is that we’ve also been focused on continuously improving our service,” said Li. “While HONOR products are known for quality and have one of the lowest repair rates in the industry, we’re committed to supporting customers after purchase.”

Since launching its first service center in 2022, HONOR Malaysia has expanded to 18 centers, with three more scheduled to open soon. By the end of 2025, HONOR plans to operate 22 to 25 official service centers, making it the tech brand with the largest number of official service locations in Malaysia.
