The Atacama Quarz UTC was designed for the professional forces who find themselves in situations that require the utmost safety, resilience, and precision. This timepiece is much like its predecessor, the Atacama.2, but is built more precise and robust due to its quartz movement, making it a reliable companion in harsh conditions. It also provides a second time zone, much to the appreciation of emergency personnel.

For the watch to be as sturdy as it is in the harshest of conditions, the Atacama Quarz UTC is ensured to be pressure resistant to 20ATM and high-water resistant, having to screw the crown all the way in for it to keep water out at all times. Its conical stainless-steel case is black PVD coated to avoid unwanted reflections from appearing for easier readability.

Though the diameter of the case is 46 millimetres, the contact area is only 34 millimetres. This makes the watch fit comfortably on a narrower wrist. The watch strap also keeps the watch secured on the wrist with a PVD-coated stainless steel buckle, having flexible lugs in between to ensure easy movement.

Retailing at MYR 2,910.00, the Atacama Quarz UTC is available now for pre-sale on the Red Army Watches website and will be available at their outlets in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and 1 Utama Shopping Centre from mid-November 2023 onwards.
