Epson, a leading innovator in projection technology, today announced the launch of the Lifestudio Grand Plus EH-LS970B, its latest all-in-one home entertainment solution that combines large-scale 4K projection, AI-powered image processing and integrated Sound by Bose speakers.
Designed for consumers seeking a bigger, more immersive viewing experience without compromising their living space, the EH-LS970B can project content from 80 to 150 inches while positioned just inches from the wall. Its ultra-short-throw design removes the need to mount a large display or position a conventional projector across the room, giving homeowners greater flexibility in how they use their space.
The EH-LS970B features upgrades across image processing and audio while retaining a compact, all-in-one approach to home entertainment.
Big-screen entertainment without the big installation
With an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.16, the EH-LS970B can create a 120-inch display when positioned approximately 17.3cm from the screen, or extend the viewing experience up to 150 inches. Its 3LCD laser projection system delivers up to 4,000 lumens of colour and white brightness and a contrast ratio of more than 5,000,000:1, producing bright, vivid images even in well-lit living spaces.
The EH-LS970B produces an on-screen 4K image with 8.3 million pixels, allowing viewers to enjoy movies, sports and games with greater detail and clarity.
AI-powered picture quality for every scene
At the heart of the EH-LS970B is a new AI-powered TV chip that analyses content in real time and automatically optimises the image for each scene. AI Super Resolution enhances sharpness and fine details, while AI Picture Quality automatically adjusts the image based on what is being displayed.
Features like Dynamic Colour Booster, Local Contrast and De-contour Processing further optimise colour, contrast and gradients, helping create smoother and more natural-looking images across different types of content.
Immersive visuals meet Sound by Bose
The EH-LS970B pairs its large-scale visuals with an integrated 20W 2.1-channel Sound by Bose speaker system, delivering room-filling audio and deep bass without requiring a separate speaker setup. Bluetooth Speaker Mode also allows the projector to function as a standalone audio system when the display is not in use.
Built-in Google TV™ brings streaming services including Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube into a single interface, while Google Cast and voice control provide additional ways to access and enjoy content.

The Epson Setting Assistant app simplifies installation by automatically correcting image distortion and alignment using a photo taken from the user’s device, reducing the need for manual adjustments.
Powered by a laser light source rated for up to 20,000 hours, the EH-LS970B is designed to provide more than 10 years of entertainment based on 5 hours of daily use, without required light-source maintenance during that period.
The Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus EH-LS970B is now available in Malaysia, with availability and configurations varying by market.
