The Pokémon Company (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara) is excited to announce the following news about Pokémon Pokopia, a title for Nintendo Switch 2, for the Malaysia market.

From 5th March to 4th June 2026, Pokémon fans in Malaysia can look forward to the arrival of the Pokémon Truck in collaboration with Nintendo Switch 2, bringing a unique gaming adventure to high-traffic malls in Klang Valley and inviting fans straight into the action.

This campaign, titled “Play Pokémon Pokopia Game with Pokémon Truck at Your Town!” will see the Pokémon Truck travel across Klang Valley, allowing fans to step directly into the world of Pokémon Pokopia.

Bringing the world of Pokémon Pokopia to life, the Pokémon Truck is a vibrant 20 foot LED truck converted into a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 interactive gaming space featuring four game stations, each paired with comfortable sofa seating. Each game station consists of a Nintendo Switch 2 console, Pokémon Pokopia board panel, and operation panel. Players can explore the latest title, Pokémon Pokopia, the life simulation game which allows the player to shape the world around them and build a cozy new life with Pokémon, within the truck’s comfortable surroundings, assisted by friendly on-site crew. Even if you’re not familiar with the game and aren’t sure how to play, our staff will guide you.

Beyond the gameplay, the experience extends outside the truck with a lively event area featuring special Pikachu appearances and a family-friendly colouring zone for young children to unleash their creativity by colouring their own versions of their favourite Pokémon. Visitors can also snap unforgettable memories at the Pokémon Pokopia photo zone and themed photo booth, making the entire stop a complete Pokémon Pokopia journey filled with fun, games, and shareable moments. As a souvenir for visitors, Pokémon Pokopia sun visors featuring Pokémon appearing in the game will be distributed while stocks last.

List of Locations and Dates

The Pokémon Truck will be roving on the road in specific routes in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Puchong, Ampang, Bukit Jalil, Kepong, Subang and Damansara, from 5th March to 4th June 2026.

Tuesday to Thursday: The truck will circulate within city areas.

Friday to Sunday: The truck will anchor at selected locations, where visitors can enjoy the full gaming experience along with the event stage and Pokémon Pokopia activity zones.

For the fixed locations, the Pokémon Truck is slated to make its appearance in the following malls on these dates, coupled with an event stage and activities featuring different Pokémon Pokopia zones.

Fans may be treated to Pikachu mascot appearances during selected weekend sessions. Appearances will take place on selected Saturdays and Sundays at designated time slots, subject to event arrangements.
