The award was presented by Gillian Ooi and Eldrick Koh, Managing Directors of ASEAN Records, to Tan Pei Ling, Head of Channel Sales at HONOR Malaysia, during the HONOR X9d 5G Roadshow held today at IOI Mall Puchong.
Since its debut in Malaysia in 2022, the HONOR X9 Series has consistently delivered exceptional performance across all retail and online channels. Engineered for durability, toughness, and high performance, the series quickly gained popularity among consumers. Its market share has seen a significant jump, from 33% in 2023 to 56% in 2025. Today, one in every two mid-range smartphones sold in Malaysia is from the X9 Series, firmly establishing its dominance in the segment.
Additionally, the newly launched HONOR X9d 5G has already set a new benchmark, selling out during its pre-order phase. This achievement surpasses the pre-order sales of its predecessor, the X9c, further strengthening HONOR’s presence in the mid-range market as it begins its nationwide sales launch today.
The HONOR X9d 5G is available nationwide from today onwards, featuring 24GB RAM (including 12GB HONOR Turbo RAM) and 256GB storage, is priced at RM1,499, while the 512GB storage variant is available for RM1,699. Each purchase comes with FREE gift bundle worth RM946 comprising of a HONOR Watch 2i smartwatch, along with 365-day Front and Back Crack Protection, a 1-Year Extended Warranty, and a 1-Year Liquid Damage Protection Warranty.
