These partnerships demonstrate the company’s long-term commitment to develop future digital talents by embedding 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital competencies into tertiary education. Together with academia, CelcomDigi is co-creating learning pathways that enhance graduates’ employability, prepare future leaders, and support Malaysia’s digital economy aspirations.
Empowering Students, Educators, and Working Professionals
Through these collaborations, students will gain real-world exposure via structured work-based learning, leadership development, and mentorship opportunities — equipping them with skills and confidence to thrive in the digital economy. From these programmes, high-performing graduates will be considered for fast-track employment opportunities within CelcomDigi. We will also be working alongside faculty members to co-create curricula that align with current and future market needs to develop employable talents ready for the workforce.
The partnership also supports the continuous learning of CelcomDigi employees through exclusive study pathways in telco and AI-related courses, and tuition privileges for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional development programmes. These benefits are also extended to employees’ families, enabling their loved ones to grow and pursue their own aspirations as well.
The MoUs were signed during the launch of CelcomDigi Academy, a new dedicated physical space located within the CelcomDigi premise. The Academy is designed to encourage continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation among employees, complemented with a wide range of structured online and offline training programmes. These efforts reflect the company’s commitment and holistic approach to employee career growth.
CelcomDigi’s Chief Human Resource Officer, Azmi Ujang said, “As the future of work evolves with 5G, AI, and emerging technologies, forging strategic collaboration is key to developing future-ready talents.
