HONOR is set to mark another milestone in Malaysia with the opening of its largest overseas HONOR Experience Store and Service Centre at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru. Scheduled for its official opening this 26 July, the 2,000 square foot flagship store combines retail, after-sales service and product experiences in a single premium destination for consumers.
In celebration of the grand opening, the first 200 customers who like and share HONOR Malaysia’s official Facebook page and leave a Google review of the new store on 26 July stand a chance to win a robot cleaner. More than just a retail space, the new HONOR Experience Store and Service Centre offers a complete experience. At the interactive product zone, customers can witness the HONOR Magic V5 floating on air, showcasing its lightweight body. Other demo includes a non-Newtonian fluid, being one of the three protective layers of the HONOR Magic V5 inner screen. Customers get to punch the fluid and experience the material harden on impact. The hinge durability display is also there to see, with the HONOR Magic V5 withstanding a 35kg weight dumbbell. There is also a tear down display area for customers to understand the engineering behind the foldable’s internal components, showcasing the slim silicon carbon battery and overall frame, establishing how the newest flagship carries the tagline ‘Slim with No Compromise’.
HONOR Magic V5 Sets Record with 60% Sales Increase During Pre-Order Period
Since opening pre-orders on 15 July, the HONOR Magic V5 has driven a 60% increase in sales volume compared to its predecessor, the Magic V3, once again setting a new record in HONOR’s foldable category. Its success reflects Malaysians’ growing demand for foldable smartphones that combine ultra-slim design with robust performance, including flagship-level cameras, longer battery life and multitasking AI features.
Nationwide First Sale Begins On 25 July!
The HONOR Magic V5 officially goes on nationwide sale starting 25 July 2025, retailing at RM6,999. The device comes in 16GB RAM and 512GB storage in four premium colors of Dawn Gold, Ivory White, Silk Brown, and Black.
