London-based technology company Nothing has announced today that it will enter a new product category on 2 July 01:00 Malaysia time (1 July at 18:00 BST).

CEO Carl Pei appeared on stage at SXSW London earlier today to talk about the future of smartphones, Nothing’s success to date, community co-creation, and much more.

In his closing remarks, he revealed that Nothing Headphone (1) will launch on 2 July. The company’s first product in the over-ear audio category. The global launch event will take place in Nothing’s home market, London, UK.

Previously announced for 2 July is Nothing’s first true flagship smartphone – Phone (3).
