Public figures including Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, Datuk Seri Nurhaliza, Datuk Lee Chong Wei, and Khairul Aming, had been impersonated in deepfake scams, according to Free Malaysia Today. Scammers have exploited their likenesses to deceive victims into financial loss or identity theft.
