Orient Star has launched a new Modern Skeleton model, renowned for its cutting-edge, contemporary design that reveals part of the mechanical movement through the dial. This latest model diverges from the stately color schemes that the Modern Skeleton is known for, embracing a more stylish look that color-coordinates the dial with the bezel and case.
Since its debut in 2014, Orient Star’s Modern Skeleton has been a global bestseller. Joining the collection in its 10th year, the new model is characterized by dial colors that complement the bezel and case. While previous models featured blue, green, and brown dials that contrasted with the case to emphasize the watch face, the new dial colors harmonize with the metallic textures of the case and other components. This creates visual harmony between the dial—with its bold open work at 9, 2, and 6 o’clock—and the mechanical movement visible beneath. The result is a new aesthetic that enhances the Modern Skeleton’s unique design by utilizing the movement to elevate the dial.
The 10th anniversary all-black model, available in a limited edition of 600 pieces, brings a contemporary, stylish look to the Modern Skeleton. This model is the first of its kind for the Modern Skeleton, lending an even more stylish appearance to the watch.
Adding a new, light-hearted image to the Modern Skeleton, the new model is equipped with the automatic mechanical in-house calibre F6F44, offering stable accuracy of +25 seconds to -15 seconds per day and a power reserve of 50 hours. The beauty of the watch can be appreciated from both the dial and the see-through caseback, making this a truly attractive model for mechanical watch aficionados worldwide.
