Meanwhile, HONOR has rolled out a new MagicOS 8.0 update for the HONOR Magic6 Pro, bringing new Apps available on the Magic Portal and other new, useful features for user’s daily need. As part of MagicOS 8.0, the Magic Portal feature now supports 100 top applications across seven scenarios, including travel, productivity, messaging, search, entertainment, shopping, and social media. More Devices Eligible for New MagicOS 8.0 Software Update

HONOR today also announced the availability of the new MagicOS 8.0 for the HONOR Magic Series. Starting today, HONOR Magic V2 series, including the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR and HONOR Magic5 Pro users can download and install the update from the Settings menu. 

Based on Android 14, MagicOS 8.0 brings an AI-powered intent-based user interface (IUI) with features like Magic Portal, Magic Capsule and Smart Folder. It also brings a wide variety of user interface, performance, privacy and battery efficiency improvements like the new Ultra Power Saving Mode to the flagship smartphones, empowering users with better productivity and offering greater convenience using on-device AI.
