Canon Marketing Malaysia’s (“Canon”) has just launched the imagePROGRAF TC-20, the latest evolution of its imagePROGRAF series of printers. Their line of outstanding large-format printers oriented to image printing now fits on a desk! The TC-20 offers uncompromising image print quality and features for productivity in a small size. The printer is capable of producing fine, crisp lines on par with high-end devices, making it invaluable in industries such as architecture, engineering and construction, education, and retail. CAD drawings and posters can now be printed right from a desktop, enabling professionals to work in a way they could not before. The TC-20 is the progression in Canon’s imagePROGRAF lineup to accommodate consumer needs, specifically, professionals working from home and in small workspaces. Designed with superb ease of use and maximum productivity in mind, the printer has easy-refill ink cartridges, supports roll paper, and has an Auto Sheet Feeder for continuous A4 and A3 cut sheet printing. Its four-colour pigment ink cartridges are also hard to smudge from highlighters or minor water spills. For a very small footprint, this printer has big capabilities and minimal downtime to boot. Complementing these features are the bundled free software – PosterArtist and Direct Print Plus. PosterArtist offers stock images and templates for a variety of printed marketing materials including brochures and flyers. To make designing a breeze, the Auto Design feature was developed with a designer’s sensibility to automatically position elements such as text and images. Meanwhile, Direct Print Plus allows users to batch print files of different formats without opening them. Both software that comes with the Canon TC-20 accommodate professionals and users with limited design expertise alike to enable them to create high-quality posters and other materials quickly. The TC-20 is also Canon’s first printer that is gold-rated by the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT). EPEAT is an ecolabel for the IT industry which evaluates the environmental effects of products. Consequently, the TC-20 has been recognised by EPEAT with a gold rating for its low power consumption and for using recycled plastic. This rating by EPEAT is an echo of Canon’s commitment to sustainability. If there is just one phrase to describe Canon’s latest printer in the imagePROGRAF line, that would be uncompromising efficiency. The TC-20 is a testament to Canon’s acuity in their understanding of consumer needs. Their keen sense of home office and small workspace needs have culminated in the TC-20 where Canon has managed to squeeze big features into a small footprint. With Canon’s latest printer, users now have the flexibility to make large image prints from their desktops. The imagePROGRAF TC-20 will be available at authorised Canon partners in Malaysia on starting now.
