OPPO today announced the new OPPO A77s will be officially available in Malaysia on 8th October 2022. Featuring upgrades in photography, entertainment, and ColorOS 12.1 operating system, the OPPO A77s delivers all-around smooth performance for users. The advanced 33W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge and a 5000mAh large battery provide greater freedom when using the A77s. With 33W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge, the OPPO A77s can be charged from 0% to 100% in about 71 minutes, while a 5-minute charge is enough to provide 2.98 hours of phone calls . When fully charged, the long-lasting 5,000mAh battery can provide more than 14 days of standby or over 17 hours of typical YouTube video viewing. 

Charging hardware protection including overvoltage and overcurrent protection technologies ensure that the battery is always charged safely. Optimized Night Charging can leverage AI capabilities to learn users’ sleeping habits and set a tailored charging plan to prevent over-charging of the battery, helping users feel safe when charging overnight. 

Upgraded hardware for enhanced entertainment experience

For those who love to capture special moments on camera, the OPPO A77s is equipped with a 50MP AI Dual Camera and new features to capture incredible video and photo content: Bokeh Flare Portrait allows users to capture portrait images with rich bokeh light spots like a professional camera, while Selfie HDR provides clear selfies in dimly lit or backlit surroundings.

The A77s’ dual Ultra-Linear Stereo Speaker with DIRAC 3.0 delivers higher-quality stereo audio with enhanced volume in videos, while the 6.56-inch Colour-Rich display with a 90Hz high refresh rate ensures a smooth and comfortable display for users to enjoy high-definition video content and games on. 

At the heart of the A77s is the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 680 4G Mobile Platform, delivering a 102% increase in CPU performance, and a 76% increase in GPU performance compared to the previous generation . The 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM configuration supports enlarged storage and a smoother user experience, enabling more possibilities for everyday entertainment. RAM Expansion technology can augment the original RAM up to 5GB, while the phone also supports SD card expansion of up to 1TB ROM.

Built using OPPO’s unique manufacturing processes, the A77s is available in two fresh colour finishes: Sky Blue and Starry Black.

 

The Sky Blue and Starry Black models feature the iconic OPPO Glow, while the Sky Blue features a blue tone gradient that reflects evolving colours when viewed from different angles, and the Starry Black is based on a pure black backdrop that shines gently like stars scattered across the dark night sky.

More than 130 ultra-rigorous reliability tests and more than 320 comprehensive quality tests were conducted on each A77s to verify that the phone is resistant to water splashes, scratches, abrasion, and other common wear and tear, giving users peace of mind when it comes to daily use. 

ColorOS 12.1 provides improved security and efficiency

The A77s provides enhanced data privacy and information security thanks to features in ColorOS 12.1. Photo Data Privacy allows users to easily remove detailed photo and video metadata, helping prevent private information from being leaked. With the Privacy Dashboard, users can view and manage how applications access their personal data, ensuring that sensitive information is not used inappropriately.

ColorOS 12.1 is also built for convenience and efficiency. FlexDrop allows users to keep an additional app open in a small floating window, providing more effective multi-tasking when switching between apps. Three-Finger Translate with Google Lens can quickly translate text in the selected area of a screenshot and includes support for over 100 languages.
