HUAWEI Malaysia (Huawei Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd) announced today the appointment of Victor Xu Jin Long as the new Country Director of HUAWEI Malaysia Consumer Business Group (BG) to oversee the day-to-day business operations.
Before taking the role of Country Director, Victor served as Director of Huawei Asia Pacific Device Channel Sales. He has a broad spectrum of experience across the industry, notably in the area of strategic business planning, establishing corporate ties and alliances, as well as improving organisational competence.
In his new position, he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HUAWEI Malaysia Consumer BG’s operations, reaffirming the company’s commitment as a leading global smartphone brand, providing high-quality goods to Malaysian shores and enhancing Malaysians’ access to a seamless, AI-powered connected life.

With over 15 years of experience working in the consumer electronics industry, Victor joined HUAWEI China in 2007 as a member of the Terminal Test Management Department. Since then, he has advanced through the ranks of leadership at HUAWEI Technologies, becoming the Director of China Device Channel Sales, followed by the Director of the Asia Pacific Device Channel Sales Management Department.
Victor graduated from Tianjin University in China.
