OnePlus has announced the extension of its ongoing exclusive warranty policy. Initially slated to be in effect from 15th July to 15th September, the policy has now been extended till 31st December 2022 and will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Introduced back in July alongside the brand’s official establishment in Malaysia, the exclusive warranty policy covering specific models* both in- and out-warranty now aims to benefit pre-existing Malaysian OnePlus users. This reiterates the brand’s commitment to bring the full OnePlus experience to the local market.
Currently, both new and existing OnePlus users can visit the two official authorised service centres to have their smartphones repaired. Alternatively, they can also take advantage of Mail-in Repair Service from participating OnePlus Retail Stores, where their smartphones will be sent to an authorised service centre free of charge. Lastly, users can also opt for the Self-mail-in Repair Service by mailing their phones to the 1Powerhouse OnePlus Authorised SIR Centre with the send-in courier fee borne by the user and the returning courier fee borne by the SIR centre.
To date, almost 200 OnePlus users have benefited from this policy, enjoying greater accessibility to premium aftersales service for their devices.

On the other hand, there are also Community engagement activities where prizes may be won. Users can look out for the upcoming Unboxing and Win activity, where they can stand a chance to win an exclusive OnePlus bundle by uploading their unboxing of the OnePlus 10T 5G!
